Singha:
The Budweiser of Bangkok
There's little to be said about this beautiful island that the photos cannot say more eloquently, save this: seven days were not nearly enough.

In this sequence, you'll find Phi Phi Don, the island we stayed on, and Phi Phi Ley, a smaller island that served as a backdrop for the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio film "The Beach." I don't get what you girls love about that guy; he looks just like k.d. lang.

Phi Phi Don
This is the large island where our hotel was located, where we ate dinner every night, where we sat on the beach eating bananas most days. Oh - you could also check your Hotmail from the various Internet huts. Paradise!

Maya Bay and Phi Phi Lei
Yes, this is The Beach (capitalized). We're hoping it won't be popularized (read: ruined) by Leonardo's movie. Considering the reviews and the fact that 14-year-old girls can't usually make overseas trips by themselves, it might remain relatively undiscovered.
